Here’s a quick tutorial showing you how you can easily customize your Sends View in the Mix window in Pro Tools.
Single Send or Assignments
Pro Tools has options for you to change the view of your sends. There’s Assignments View and there’s Single Send view.
Let’s say you’re using a send for a headphone mix. You’d want to be able to quickly see the overall headphone mix as a whole. Single Send view would be ideal for this.
On the other hand, you may want to be able to take a quick look at all of the different Sends you’ve got happening in a mix at once. Send Assignments View is ideal for being able to do this.
In this example, I’ll be using Pro Tools 7.4 on a Mac.

Very very useful and quick way to manage the sends.
When somebody first showed me the two send views, it made my day. I’m sure you did this for plenty folks with this video.
