Behind the Site

ShowMeProTools features content created by Vancouver based producer and music & technology specialist Chris Bryant.

For nearly 20 years Chris has been producing and engineering music, and working professionally with Pro Tools, MIDI and computer-based music production. He has achieved numerous technical certifications from Digidesign and is also a Certified Waves Training provider and McDSP Plugins Training partner.

In 2004, he founded StudioSmart Training in Vancouver to provide a place where artists and producers of every experience level could get custom-tailored Pro Tools and production training.

As a lifelong musician and songwriter Chris has earned credits on several independent and major label releases in Canada and when he’s not teaching in person or creating training materials for online lessons, he is busy producing music for independent artists in his Pro Tools studio.
